Audio Books
The audio book market is thriving in the UK fuelled by the growth in download sites such as Amazon, iTunes and Audible.co.uk (Amazon’s mobile device site). There is an increasing desire for books to be published in a variety of formats i.e. traditional printed publication, eBook and audio book as buyers create more demand for product differentiation.
Audio books have been available for many years in cassette/CD format and in recent times download in MP3 format.
We work with publishers, and independent authors to take a book from its current written format and produce it is an audio book. The audio can be provided as an audio file, or on a number of CD’s ready to be distributed and/or sold. PG Media can also assist with providing ISBN registration, CD re-production, packaging and design.
Who is involved in the audio book production service?
Unlike other potential suppliers we aim to use the author as the voice over, where possible, as we believe this is who the reader really wants to hear! However we can supply professional voice over artists at additional costs if the author so wishes and as required. Typically, an audio book project will involve a voice over, audio producer, sound engineer and project manager.
Why PG Media?
Because there are not many competitors providing a full-service and those that do tend to price themselves out of the market or provide the service as an adjunct to their main stream business. We are passionate about authors being heard in the market place as well as read and we see our experience within the speaking industry as a fundamental benefit and differentiator to our clients.
